Volunteers play a vital role in helping people have their say on health and social care.

There are plenty of opportunities for you to volunteer. Find out how you can help us make a difference to the community below.

We are looking for volunteers to help us listen to the experiences of local people and understand what care is like for them - especially those whose voices aren’t always heard.

As a Healthwatch volunteer, you'll get to meet new people and develop skills and insights into health and care services. Plus we offer full training and support.

Why volunteer with us?

  • Make a difference in your local community by giving people the opportunity to speak up about their health and social care
  • Make new friends as you become part of the Healthwatch team
  • Boost your curriculum vitae (CV) as you develop new skills and confidence in the workplace
  • Use your skills to contribute to the success of Healthwatch across Devon, Plymouth and Torbay.

“I would like to thank all those who have supported Healthwatch in our mission to monitor and improve local health and social care, particularly our volunteers and members of the public from our communities. It is vital they feedback on the services they use so that we can all make a real difference.”
